UIT code obtained from RO e-Transport system is mandatory in Romania.
All trucks entering the border to Romania roads must have UIT code for the goods/lots of goods transported.
By law, the driver must present UIT code together with the transport documents (CMR, invoice, etc.), when controlled by police/fiscal/customs authority in Romania.
Between 5,000 and 10,000 lei (1,000 – 2,000 EUR), is the penalty applied to the diver for transporting goods without UIT.
If you are transporting goods for Romcarbon S.A please contact us with the information from supplier/carrier (written on CMR) for us to obtain and provide to you UIT code.
